Friday Night Chess# Quads

Chess4Life

Register

A youth chess night using Chess# ("Chess Sharp"), a simpler version of chess that relies more on creativity than memorization. Players are grouped by age and skill into groups of four and play at least 3 games each, and first-timers play other first-timers their age. Top score in each group earns a trophy. The only requirement is knowing how all the pieces move.

Check in by 5:45 PM; first round starts at 6:00. Beginners usually finish in about an hour. Park in the north lot and enter door B on the west side. A waiting room is next door for parents. Space is limited, so register ahead at events.chess4life.com.

Listings here are shared by local parents, providers, and volunteers who pass along what they find. Schedules change, so a quick call ahead is always worth it.
