A hands-on leadership week at the South Dakota State Capitol where students learn state government from a Christian worldview. Students run for office, take part in a mock legislature, and learn how to be effective leaders back home. Evening sessions add games, worship and biblical teaching.
Arrive Monday by 12:45 PM in professional attire (see the dress code) and eat lunch beforehand; lunches the rest of the week are catered and included. Graduation is Thursday at 1:00 PM, with a short mock legislative session and speeches from elected officials. Parents are welcome to stay and observe. Scholarships are available, and negotiated hotel rates are listed on the TeenPact South Dakota page.
Listings here are shared by local parents, providers, and volunteers who pass along what they find. Schedules change, so a quick call ahead is always worth it.
